eHL Policy Toolkit

The Electronic Health Literacy Policy Toolkit

The Electronic Health Literacy Policy Toolkit aims to provide eHL recommendations and examples of good practices for university and policy decision-makers in order to acknowledge and support their application at the society level.

The university decision makers will have a ready-to-use eHL policy toolkit with interventions and good practices which addresses the policy supporting development of the eHL skills and knowledge of medical and allied-health students and teaching staff, whereas the policy decision-makers will have a ready-to-use eHL policy toolkit with interventions and good practices applicable at the general population level.

The specific objectives of eHL Policy Toolkit are:

  • Determining the existence of eHL policies in partner countries;
  • Assessing the presence of eHL policies, disciplines and good practices in partner universities and other academic institutions;
  • Identifying the significance of eHL from the perspectives of decision-makers within universities, exploring potential interventions or strategies to enhance it within their institutions;
  • Determining the eHL policy recommendations for society from the Public Health perspective, based on the recommendations for universities.

This resource is expected to be available in March 2027.
