On 20 November 2025, during the CDUMP Days hosted at the Palace of Medicine in Bucharest, the eHELPED-iT team—represented by Assoc. Prof. Raluca Gheorghe and Prof. Ovidiu Popa-Velea—presented key points of the Electronic Health Literacy Handbook (eHL Handbook), the first result of the eHELPED-iT project.
The event brought together academic staff and experts with a strong interest in electronic and digital health literacy, alongside Assoc. Prof. Ștefan Busnatu, the Vice-Rector for Information Infrastructure, Digitalization and Innovative Technologies at CDUMP.
Discussions highlighted the growing need for electronic health literacy competencies in medical education, emphasizing their essential role in preparing students for a dynamic, technology-driven healthcare environment. These competencies are considered as fundamental to shaping the future of modern Medicine.
