The Kick-off Meeting of the eHELPED-iT project

On January 16th -17th 2025 took place the first transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ Cooperation partnership project (KA220-HED), Electronic Health Literacy perspectives, education and digital tools (eHELPED-iT), under the coordination of ,,Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy from Bucharest. The event took place at the Center of Innovation and eHealth (CieH) in Bucharest, Romania.

The Rector of ,,Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Prof. Viorel Jinga, MD and Dr. Simona Dima, The ROGEN Project Director, welcomed the participants.

At the event, the following  representatives of the Higher Education institutions took part:

  • Eglė Brezgytė, Coordinator of the Department of International Projects and Lecturer Šarūnė Barsevičienė, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Department of Dental Hygiene, KVK, Lithuania;
  • Magdalena Suchocka, International Projects Coordinator and Aleksandra Zdrojewska, Researcher, AHE, Poland;
  • Prof. Angelika Velkova-Monova, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Prof. Todor Kundurzhiev, Vice -Dean for Academic Affairs, MUS, Bulgaria;
  • Assoc. Prof. Marijana Jeleč, Department of German Studies and Assoc. Prof. Arta Dodaj, Department of Psychology, UNIZD, Croatia;
  • Charalampos Theodorou, Researcher and Katerina Petsa, Software Developer, UCY, Cyprus.

The CDUMP team was represented by:

  • Senior Lecturer Iuliana-Raluca Gheorghe, Project Manager, Discipline Marketing and Medical Technology, Faculty of Medicine;
  • Prof. Ovidiu Popa-Velea, Responsible with the implementation of the project, Discipline Medical Psychology, Faculty of Medicine;

During the two days of the event, participants presented and discussed topics related to the project management and the work packages they coordinate.

Participants also visited the Palace of the Faculty of Medicine, the Center for Research and Development of Innovative Therapeutic Structures – InnoTher and the 3D Printing Center of the ,,Carol Davila” University of Medicine and Pharmacy.
